A little roster movement for the 49ers on Wednesday: LB Dekoda Watson was placed on injured reserve. To take his place, the team promoted DE Pita Taumoepenu to the active roster from the practice squad. Additionally, the Niners officially signed long snapper Colin Holba, who takes the place of now suspended long snapper Kyle Nelson.

Wilson's big day leads Seahawks past San Francisco 43-16

Russell Wilson threw three first-half touchdowns on just four completions and finished with four TD passes. Bobby Wagner capped a blowout with a 98-yard interception return touchdown, and the Seattle Seahawks won their third straight by beating the...

A cursory glance at the boxscore without seeing the final score would make it appear the 49ers gave the Seahawks all they wanted on Sunday. But, as has been the case many times this season, the Niners were again done in by their own mistakes offensively and an inability to force them defensively. San Francisco was minus-3 in turnover margin, including two giveaways inside Seattle's 20, one of which linebacker Bobby Wagner returned 98 yards for a touchdown. The result was a lopsided 43-16 loss that leaves the Niners in the driver's seat for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft.

Dante Pettis' 75-yard touchdown gives him 27.2 PPR fantasy points and the lead among wide receivers in Week 13 thus far. He has 44.9 points the past two weeks combined, with most of the fourth quarter left to play.

Following the Cardinals win over the Packers and with the 49ers losing 20-3 at halftime, San Francisco is now the favorite to earn the No. 1 overall pick. The 49ers have a 49% chance to land the pick, according to live projections from FPI.

The talent deficit between the 49ers and Seahawks was painfully clear in the first half, particularly at quarterback where Russell Wilson completed just four passes but three of them went for touchdowns. Meanwhile, Niners QB Nick Mullens tried to hang in against Seattle's defense but the only real production came from RB Jeff Wilson Jr. The Niners trail 20-3 and it's hard to envision a scenario in which they get back in this short of a flurry of turnovers, which hasn't exactly been the Niners' thing this year defensively.
